Building on his interest in art and design, in 1995 Robert undertook a one year course in Interior Design at the Parsons School of Design, New York. Living in a Warehouse in Brooklyn and studying on 5th Avenue was the perfect combination to unleash some creativity. Gaining a "Certificate in Interior Design", Robert returned to his native Wales and started Rob David Interior Design in 1996.

Upon arriving back in the UK, Robert was contacted by the BBC and hired as Designer/Presenter on a makeover series. "Real Rooms".

His TV work includes several appearances on S4C and ITV Wales as a Designer and Presenter and was recently an Arts Correspondent for the magazine programme Wedi3.
